Magoo / Kirk and Magoo

Singer, songwriter, bandleader, stage host, parade leader, and a masterful children’s performer, Magoo keeps the kid in all of us charged up. The whole family is sure to have a blast. The Mariposa Folk Festival said Magoo “puts on one of the best children’s shows in Canada today.” A favourite at festivals, schools, libraries, and corporate events, Magoo also works with Kirk Elliott and presents a fun-filled action-packed show featuring costumes, music, and humour. “Dickie Bird” - Richard Knechtel

Richard Knechtel is a successful songwriter, recording artist, and performer who engages audiences with his joyful, up-beat presentation. Richard is a most versatile entertainer; along with his solo performances he also fronts: the folk-based Richard Knechtel Quartet, the country trio Northern Lights, the dance band The Cabin Cruisers, the acoustic trio All Because of Fred, and The Kids Show with Dickie Bird which features sing-alongs, puppets, magic, and audience participation. Richard has over 300 original songs to his credit and draws on a huge repertoire of popular songs when he performs at festivals, conventions, concerts, and special events. “What a Talent!” said CBC Radio.

“BeeBo” (Roland Bibeau)

“BeeBo” (Roland Bibeau) is a singer-songwriter who discovered the joy of writing and singing children’s songs after the birth of his eldest daughter. His inspiration comes from growing and playing together with his family. BeeBo performs regularly at day care centres, schools, and summer festivals, and has released several audio recordings. BeeBo concerts always include songs, fun, and his pal Marmalade with his colourful costumes and dancing characters. With BeeBo singing and Marmalade moovin’ and groovin’, a good time is guaranteed for the entire family.

John Hopman

John Hopman presents a show complete with comedy, magic, ventriloquism, and audience participation. He is available for trade shows, grand openings, school assemblies, birthday parties, church groups, Christmas parties, corporate banquets, etc.

Chris McKhool

Chris McKhool is part musical performer, part environmentalist, and 100% fun! Featuring original songs from his appearances on Mr. Dressup, YTV, TV Ontario and the CBC, Chris’ children’s and family concerts are fully interactive. They involve the audience in singing, dancing, and talking about the environment, as Chris creates a multicultural mosaic from a variety of styles and instruments. Cindy Cook from Polka Dot Door

Cindy Cook is familiar to Canadian families from her ongoing appearances on two national TV shows, the award-winning Time To Read and The Polka Dot Door. When not filming for TV, Cindy performs across North America with her loveable puppets Spelling Bee, Bookworm, and Owlie. Using audience participation they entertain with songs, dance, games, and different languages to ensure that everyone has fun. Cindy presents seasonal concerts plus shows about safety, the environment, and reading.

The Stylamanders

The Stylamanders are a zany, high-energy musical duo who combine great original music, audience participation, championship yo-yo tricks, wacky choreography, and pure fun. They present a show for the whole family to enjoy, and feature themes like self-esteem, learning, tolerance, safety, and caring. A francophone show is also available.

Doug Barr

Doug Barr is an established Canadian children’s singer, songwriter, and performer. He has recorded several original songs and has TV and radio credits to his name. Matthew Romain – Join Hands Puppeteers

Since 1980 Matthew Romain has been creating imaginative stories and amazing puppets to go with them. His work is known across Canada and the Ontario Arts Council has called him “Ontario’s best puppeteer.” Matthew brings his characters to life in Colonel W.D. Quack-Horn’s Extraordinary Travelling Medicine Show,and Capt’n Matt’s Treasure Hunt. Matthew is a Mentor Artist with the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Learning Through the Arts, bringing artists and teachers together to find creative ways of teaching curriculum.

Mad Science

For over 12 years Mad Science has been providing interactive, exciting, and educational science shows for children around the world. Mad Science features multi-sensory experiences of sound, lighting, laser effects, pyrotechnics, and science demos. Children love to make “slime” with Mad Science! Voted “Best New Product and Show” award in 1996 by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Great for schools, birthday parties, or theme parks.
